Poems from The Stranger
I paint my face so they cant see
I paint my face to hide from you and me
my heart breaks
my face is fake
my eyes are dry
my hands shake
Looking through the lens everything seems ok
We cant see the pain that haunts them inside
Pretending like is fine
Lying to ourselves
Why...
Walking in a crowded room never feeling so alone
you look and judge
your comments are no worse than the rage within my mind
don't you think...
The coldness of the fresh red stream trickles down my thigh
a sigh of relief; I can still feel
numb; looking out, mute
waiting desperately...
Change is persistent
time our worst enemy
tick tock, tick tock
fleeting, changing, evolving
my heart, porcelain, its delicate structure...
